The Armed Services YMCA makes military life easier by providing programs and services to the young men and women of all five armed services: Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard.

Our three areas of focus allow us to support 500,000 young enlisted soldiers, sailors, and airmen, and their families each year with the help of gracious donors and stalwart volunteers.

military ball and FRG function child care

We understand the necessity of attending the events hosted by the Armed Services and FRG's, however not all families stationed at the Fort Stewart/Hunter bases have access to family for trustworthy child care. Our staff will set up child care for your next upcoming function! Event coordinator must contact our Armed Services Program Director for details, cost, and contract! Our Armed Services Child Care staff work very hard to entertain your children while you attend a function.

Formal wear can be quite expensive and may only be worn once or twice. To avoid such a costly purchase the Liberty County/Armed Services YMCA has created the "Ball Gown Boutique". You can donate and rent from our facility. The only cost for a ball gown rental is the dry cleaning expense prior to returning the dress.

For more information on how to borrow and donate, please contact Doni Brezenski at 912.368.9622. You must to set up an appointment for trying on dresses. Appointments are available Monday thru Friday, 10am-2pm.

Summer DaY CAMP

Traditional Day Camp or our Specialty Camps at the Liberty YMCA share one thing: they’re about discovery. Kids have the opportunity to explore nature, find new talents, try new activities, gain independence, and make lasting friendships and memories. And, of course, it’s fun too.

Day Camps at the YMCA run on a weekly basis, Monday through Friday, for children ages 5-12 years.  You can pick and choose which weeks you would like to attend; you can come just one week or the whole summer!  Camp is from 9 am - 4 pm daily, with drop off starting at 6:00 am and pick up ending at 6:00 pm. We're also thrilled to announce that Second Harvest will be partnering with us this summer to provide breakfast and lunch for our campers.

Looking for something different this summer? Then register for one of our Specialty Summer Camps. This year we will have Sport camps, Arts & Crafts Camp, Fashion Camp, and Active Arcade camp.  We have something for everyone!

Join us for the BEST.SUMMER.EVER.

PIRATES: competitive swimming team

The Liberty County/Armed Services YMCA Pirates are a year round competitive swim team offering high quality professional coaching and technique instruction for all ages and abilities.

The goals of our team are to use competitive swimming as a vehicle to promote youth development, healthy living and social responsibility, to provide every member an opportunity to improve swimming skills and achieve success at his or her level of ability, and to create an environment where participants learn lessons that will have a positive, lifelong impact.

The Pirates compete at local, regional and state meets and invitationals in surrounding counties.  Our swimmers aspire to compete at the national level as well.

The Liberty County/Armed Services Y Swim Team also offers a feeder program, YMCA Pre-Swim Team Parrots for any child interested in beginning the path to the Pirate Swim Team.
