We are excited to announce that there will be many changes to make this prestigious event even more memorable for our athletes. Our goal is to provide each athlete support in achieving their dreams through a “Bridge to Potential”. Below are our new endeavors for the competition:
Women’s Championship Division: 2 Days of competition – Top 8 Juniors and top 8 Seniors on each event will qualify to finals after the first day of competition. Team score based on Day 1 competition. (There will no longer be 3 days of competition in Championship Division.)
Championship Event Finals: To be held the evening of the second day of competition, so that our best athletes in the country can be the spotlight and all our competitive levels can attend and be inspired. No other competitions will go on during this event.
Highest All-Around Score Overall: Each level will have one athlete recognized for an overall “High All-Around Score”. (Example: If we have 5 sessions of level 4, after the 5th session is complete, the gymnast that received the highest All-Around score throughout the entire level 4 competition will be recognized and receive a special award.
Invitational Team Awards: We will offer team awards, 1st – 10th place, in our Invitational divisions for the following levels: Xcel Gold, Xcel Platinum, Xcel Diamond, women’s level 6 & 7.
Men’s Division: We will offer division 1 & 2 per the USAG guidelines.
All levels, except Women’s Championship & Men’s Competition, will have sessions competing June 30th – July 2nd.
