The Pre-K Lead Teacher is responsible for providing development, implementation & supervision of the curriculum in the classroom. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES
Responsibilities include overseeing and training volunteers and staff who work in the classroom; Planning, assigning, and directing work to assistants; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions and extreme heat. The employee is occasionally exposed to bodily fluids. The noise level in the work environment is moderately loud.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Pre-K Teacher Certified in one of the following: Early Childhood Education (P-5) or Elementary Education (P-8) or Early Childhood/Interrelated Special Education (P-5)
Ability to read resource material and transfer it to a written lesson plan. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from parents in a professional manner. Ability to write articles for newsletter that conform to prescribed style and format.
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
REQUIRED TRAINING Camp starts May 21st, required trainings begin May 4th. Must be available to attend all trainings.
