Assist with Maintenance, Repairs, and Building of Challenge Course and Supplies

  • Assist with maintenance and repairs of course
  • Conduct on-site inspections of course
  • Prepare and maintain team supplies

Group Management:

  • Explanation of all activities

  • Leadership of debriefing and closure for each element

Effingaham YMCA - Boutique Style Fitness Instructor

Golden Isles YMCA - Substitute Teachers

The Golden Isles Child Learning Center is now hiring reliable, motivated substitute teachers for coverage during all hours of operation. Substitute teachers will be trained in each classroom (Toddlers through Pre-K) before entering the sub list permanently. If a position becomes available in the center in the future, substitutes are given the first opportunity to interview for a permanent classroom position.

The Richmond Hill YMCA is looking to hire staff for our evening and weekend shifts. There will be other evening shifts however, this position will be responsible for the following shifts:

Friday 2:00PM-7:00PM

Saturday 12:00PM-5:00PM

Sunday 1:00PM-5:00PM

GENERAL SUMMARY

The Front Desk Attendant is responsible for welcoming members and guests into the facility, for answering and transferring calls, for communicating policy and program information to visitors at the desk and receipting program payments. In addition, every position in the YMCA of Coastal Georgia, Inc is responsible for upholding the Judeo-Christian principles that are central to our mission by modeling behaviors that exemplify the four pillars of character - caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES

  1. Inspect the facility to ensure program participant safety and service.
  2. Properly report any facility or equipment issues.
  3. Give tours to prospective members.
  4. Accurately register memberships for new and returning members including proper accounting of bank draft and or invoice memberships.
  5. Accurately report and record membership changes as required.
  6. Answer questions about all YMCA programs and activities by phone or in person.
  7. Receive money, write receipts for program fees and membership, and balance the deposit at the end of the designated shift.
  8. Provide security by verifying memberships of program participants entering the facility.
  9. Register participants for programs and make reservations for facilities as necessary.
  10. Open and/or secure building at the open/close of business as necessary.
  11. Assist in the overall retention and satisfaction of YMCA members through appropriate customer service.
  12. Assist in the Annual Campaign fundraising program for the YMCA.
  13. Maintain a positive and cheerful attitude with staff, parents and children.

Statesboro Family YMCA - Child Watch Attandant

  • make a point in remembering members’ names.
  • come up with creative ways to keep your members coming back to your class.
  • be the best you can be, keep participation up, make the member excited to be taking your class.

  • Arrive 5 minutes before class in order to prepare class setting.
  • Be courteous with ending your class a few minutes early.

  • Secure your class and set goals for class participation and growth.

  • Follow up with regular class members who have been absent.
  • Actively be involved with problem-solving.
  • Find a sub for your class when needed, both you and the sub are to inform the Wellness Director of substitution.
  • Record attendance (# of people in your class).
  • Meet with your supervisor two times a year for evaluation of performance and goal accountability.

Tybee - Welcome Center Staff

  • valid CPR/AED certification to instruct.
